If you add all these numbers up, you’re gonna come up with 7 as in 7 days of the week. We’re gonna break down what you should post every day to grow your team organically.
People ask me all the time how I grew my team to over 200+ personally sponsored stylists. The overall answer is simple…I just shared about the business often.
We all know there’s a lot of noise on social media; there’s always so many things going on. Due to the algorithm, not everyone that follows you sees your posts! If you only post once a week and wondering why it’s not working, I have the answer for you, girl: NO ONE SEES IT. periodt.
You have to be willing to put yourself out there more often if you want more people joining your team. No, I’m not talking about posting about your business every.single.day. I’m not talking about posting “Hey! Join my team and earn!” No. No. No. CRINGE. I want you to post about your business without talking about your business.
4 days out of the week, you’re going to hint about your business without actually talking about it. I don’t even want you to bring your business up in these posts. I want you to talk about what this business has done for you. The ways you benefitted from this business, the way it changed your life. Make these posts short and sweet, don’t go deep and talk about your life story – that’s for another day. For now, get straight to the point, those one-liner typa posts. Keep it in one or two sentences. THAT’S IT. You’re not offering your business yet, you’re not recruiting anyone at this point. Simply share about your experience and what it’s done for you.
Sit down and make a list of all the good things you now have because of your business. It can be anything from gaining more confidence, gaining more friends, earning more money, etc. One of my first posts was only like: “You know what feels really good? Not having to wait until payday to be able to go to the grocery store.” I didn’t mention anything about my business, I didn’t even mention the company name. Or if you’re thankful about the community it can be like “who would’ve thought that some of my best friends would be women that I met on the internet.” Period.
What this is doing is it’s starting to turn the wheels in the minds of the people reading your posts. So that momma who waits until payday to go to the grocery would be like “oh man, I wonder what she’s doing. I want that.” You’re basically just planting the seeds in their minds without shoving it down their throats.
So this is where we water that seed. For 2 days, I want you to tell your story and yes, get in deep & emotional. You may be that momma who didn’t really have anything after having your babies, but now you’re gaining more confidence and becoming happier. Or you may be that girl that has a full-time job that drains the hell out of you, but once you start working on your business you feel excited and a whole new person. Talk about the things that are making an impact in your life and tell that story. If it’s the product that’s benefitting you, tell that story.
Take note: We’ve been posting for 6 days but we still haven’t said anything about joining your team yet. We haven’t asked them if they’re interested in the opportunity or anything like that yet. What we’re doing so far is helping them paint a picture of your life, what it’s like to be in your shoes with your business and imagine what the business can do for them too.
ONCE a week, you’re going to straight-up ask people to join your team. This is where you’re going to outline what they’re going to get when they join your team. Are they going to get support, free products, discounts, etc? Talk about your company and really highlight the benefits of joining your team. Don’t forget the call to action – drop your links, tell them to join your virtual party, tell them to drop a comment or shoot you a message. Give them the exact thing you want them to do if they have interest – comment a GIF, drop an emoji, send you a DM, etc. so we specifically know who’s interested and who’s not.
PS: It’s important to attract the right people so make those posts aligned with your values. Don’t pretend and copy others because then you’ll be attracting the wrong kinda people and that’ll only be a waste of your time.
