The most important question that we often forget to ask ourselves: when should you quit? Do you know your limit? What is enough for you? Here are the 3 important W’s you should ask yourself.
Two words: opportunity cost. Are you losing out on something more valuable by sticking with your business? Are you losing time, relationships, or even money? Are you investing too much in it and are you seeing the actual returns of your investments? You have to weigh out which is more valuable to you. Do you feel like the things you’re currently missing out on are more valuable than your business? If so, is there a way to fix that?
Is there a way that you can cut back and not spend as much money and still be able to get good results from your business? Is there a way to work less hours so you can spend more time with your family? Make your sacrifices worth your while by finding a good solution.
You need a baseline expectation that you consider to be enough for it to be worth your time and energy. What do you need to feel supported by your business? Please make it realistic! Be real with yourself, girl! Don’t tell me you’re expecting to get $1,000 monthly when you can barely get it to $100. That’s just not realistic, babe. Based on your efforts, the energy you’re putting in your business, and your time, how much do you feel like you should be getting back? It doesn’t even have to be financial – it can be the impact you want to make or the support you get from the community. And that expectation will grow with you. Maybe your baseline now is you want to sign up 2 girls monthly or earn an extra $50 per month, but don’t underestimate that. It might sound small right now but that’s what’s gonna keep you going. That’s what’s gonna make you show up to your biz every single day and make you feel like it’s all worth it.
How much time are you willing to sacrifice for your business? Are you willing to put in work that won’t show you results until 5 years from now? It’s very important to give yourself some time to see these results – at least 6 months to a year! The network marketing industry gives you unlimited potential but you should know you’re in here for the long haul. You should be willing to put in work and accept that you’re not gonna see results until years from now. It’s gonna take time and consistency to see your business grow; success doesn’t happen overnight, boo.
Is the time and energy you’re putting in worth it for you? If you feel like it’s not, why so? Is it because you feel like you’re only wasting time and money? Is it because you feel like it’s taking too long or you’re not seeing the success you wanna see? You have to really dig deep and be real with yourself, girl! Figure it out and know if it’s solvable. Would you need a concrete fix like a system put in place (hello soul systems!) or is it something more abstract like your mindset? And how do you think you can fix that?
It’s important to reflect and ask yourself these questions because if you’re not feeling like it’s worth it for you then you’re going to end up resenting your business. If you’re resenting your biz then it’s not gonna grow. Your time, effort, and energy will all go to waste. You have to come from a loving and happy place to really grow it! So take time to really think about it. If you still feel stuck, let me know, and let’s chat it out! If you feel like this is not the right fit for you then that’s OKAY. It’s not for everyone! THAT’S TOTALLY FINE. The earlier you figure out if this is for you or not, the better. At least you can move on and invest your time and energy somewhere else; to some other things that you truly enjoy and are passionate about.
So keep thinking about these questions and shoot me a message if you still need some advice! I’d love to connect with ya’ll!
