I know how hard it is to have self-confidence. We always have doubts about literally everything about ourselves – no matter how big or small. So here’s a quick guide when you’re feeling down and needing that boost of confidence and BAD BOSS ENERGY!
Meditating sounds easy but it can get a bit tricky especially if you’re just starting out. It’s quite hard to concentrate and empty your mind. But don’t worry, a guided mediation is the key! All you have to do is listen and follow the instructions. If you’re not comfortable yet or haven’t found the time, you can start with short ones like 5-10 minutes a day, and gradually increase according to your needs.
Reflect on the day that was and list down all the things you achieved – no matter how big or small. This is a great reminder of how productive you’ve been when you feel like you didn’t do enough. Learn to acknowledge your accomplishments even just for the day.
Nothing like good ol’ self-love, am I right, ladies?? It’s easy to get caught up in our crazy schedules, so here’s a nice little reminder of how wonderful you are as a person – not just a mom. If you’re having trouble doing it yourself, feel free to ask your family and friends! It’s always a good feeling hearing what others love about you; including things you don’t even realize.
The best way to start/end the day is to hear words of affirmation from your best friend – yourself. If you’re new to this and you don’t know what to say, here are a few things you can start with: I’m strong, confident, beautiful, lovable, deserving of love and acceptance, and worthy of my dreams.
My fave way to really boost your self-confidence is taking time to acknowledge how far you’ve come. You may not realize that you’re actually already living the life you prayed for 5-10 years ago. It can be graduating university, buying that car, getting into your Master’s program – anything that you’ve only dreamt of. BE PROUD OF YOURSELF! Look where you are now.
